American Psycho is the story of Patrick Bateman, the 26 year doddery vice president of the stockbroker firm, Pierce & Pierce. By external appearances, Patrick is well-groomed, confidant, fashionable and salutary. In reality, Bateman is a man whose only sure thing in spiritedness is what he is supposed to be.
