The Space Race between the United States of America and Soviet Union during the Cold War was not only a lam between two nuclear countries, except more than more a contest between two geniuses: Wernher von von Braun and Sergey Korolyov. After World War II, it became perspicuous that the world will be divided in two: capitalistic and communistic countries. Both sides, especially communists, desperately postulate to show the people in their countries that their club system is fracture than the other one. The first selection would have been war, but as both (U.S and Soviets) had nuclear weapons, the risk for a global chance was too big.
